The Royal Canadian Mint has gone creative again and has issued a 99.99% pure silver 5$0 coin featuring a hare running away from a wolf which is the fourth release in the Mint’s $50 for $50 program.

Artist Emily Damstra created the design found on the reverse which bears the inscription of a hare running away from a wolf. Other Inscriptions include CANADA, 50 DOLLARS, 2016 and the artist’s initials of ED. Susanna Blunt’s portrait of Queen Elizabeth II appears on the obverse.
