Ukraine Bank uses SPARK Technology on its Latest Note
2016-02-12 Fri
Just two days after Russia’s release of a commemorative bank note which was considered as insulting to Ukraine by some circles, Ukraine announced a new issue of its own. Unlike Russia though, Ukraine’s note is intended to provide increased security and not make any political statements. The new 500-hryvnia note is beige in colour and the main images are the same but interchanged in terms of its position. To easily identify them, the colour and size differ significantly from other denominations.
The bank also has implemented the ‘window’ protective tape on the note which is made of optically-variable element using the latest SPARK® technology. The new notes will be officially circulated from April 16th.
