New Zealand’s Shining Beauty Featured on Stamps

Recent issue from New Zealand: a set of four shining stamps depicting native Glow Worms and their amazing beauty.New Zealand Post issue four stamps featuring the sites where the Glow Worms are found.
Glow Worms are not really worms but is a kind of fungus which shines the brightest during the it’s larval stage and create a beautiful blue – green glow.
Featured with the photographs taken by Joseph Michael, the stamps come in four different denominations: 80c, $1.50, $2 and $2.50.
The stamps have been printed using glow-in-the-dark ink to replicate the effect of glow-worms in the wild. The stamps glow in the dark after being exposed to the sunlight.
