General Post Office – GPO has taken an initiative to attract new generation and to establish a strong connection with the common man who has slightly drifted off from the Post.

Established by the British, the Post has efficiently performed its duty towards the people. Post office is no more just a place to send or receive mails. With changing times, the role of post has also changed.

A new Souvenir Gallery has been opened at Mumbai GPO, where, people can now by small gift items related to the India Post. Inaugurated on 5th Feb 2016, the gallery exhibits a variety of gift items such as attractive post cards, T-shirts with a unique stamp printed on it or a keychain with the miniature image of the historical building of the GPO, famous stamps and many other things.

The aim behind such an attempt is to get reconnected with the people.
