Rare Coins Exhibited by Ujjain Coin Society

Here’s something to cheer about for coin collectors around the country! The Ujjain Coin Society is organizing an exhibition of rare coins from February 5th to 7th at Premchhaya Parisar near Chamunda chowk.Coins dating back to thousands of years will be displayed at the three-day exhibition. More than 20, 000 coins of Maurya, Shunga, Kushana, Naga, Satvahana, Shaka, Gupta, Vardhana, Rashtrakutas, Parmaras, Lodis, Sultans, Gulams, Mughals, Marathas and British will be showcased. The exhibition will open at 11 am and will continue till 7 pm. Scholars and coin collectors from across the country are expected to be present.
Respected numismatists and collectors like Dr Jagannath Dubey, Dr Shyam Sunder Nigam, Dr Prashant Kulkarni, Ranvijay Singh, Dr Dilip Rajgor and Madan Sankhla will be felicitated at the event for their notable contributions.
