PostNord Celebrates Silver Jubilee of King Harald V

Norway post issues a commemorative stamp celebrating 25th Year of the accession to the throne by King Harald V.King Haralad V inherited the throne on January 17th, 1991. To commemorate his 25 years on the throne, the post of Norway issued a new stamp.
It is tradition of Norway to depict royal portraits on legal tenders of the country. The stamp issued on the occasion, likewise, features portrait of King Harald V and Queen Sonja being blessed to become the Norwegian royal couple.
Designed by Jorn O. Jontvedt, the stamp comes with the value of NOK (Norwegian krone) 17.00.
