Tipu Sultan named all his silver coins after the names of Islamic saints and Caliphs.

The silver 1/32 Rupee, also known as the Khizri, is the lowest denomination silver coin, weighing 0.35 grams, issued by Tipu Sultan. The obverse bears the inscription "Khizri" along with the regnal year, while the reverse side features the inscription "Zarb Dar-ul-Sultanate" along with the Mauludi year.
