ISRO has made significant advancements since launching its first satellite, Aryabhata, in 1975, developing vehicles like PSLV and GSLV.On January 29, 2025, it will launch the NVS-02 satellite, marking its 100th mission and showcasing India's growing space capabilities.
India Post issued stamps for both Aryabhata in 1975 and Rohini in 1981.
In 2000, India Post released a se-tenant pair that included themes related to Indian space missions, including references to missions like Mangalyaan and Chandrayaan.
