Ardoksho, the Iranian goddess of wealth, was worshipped in the Kushan Empire. She is known as an East Iranian deity and is considered an alternate name for Lakshmi, the Hindu goddess of prosperity. In the ancient Avesta texts, she is referred to as Ashi.

Goddess Ardokhsho is similar to the deity Hariti, found in various forms of Buddhism, Persian goddess Anahita, the Greek Tyche, the Roman Fortuna and the Hindu Shri.

King Huvishka of the Kushan Empire issued this gold Dinar (7.76g) featuring Goddess Ardokhsho on reverse.
