On 3rd December 1884, the First President of India was born in Jerdei Village, Bihar, and served in office from 1950 to 1962.He was a strong supporter of Mahatma Gandhi and was imprisoned for his involvement in the Salt Satyagraha in 1930 and the Quit India Movement in 1942.
