On 1st April, PM #Modi unveiled a special commemorative coin marking 90 Years since the foundation of the apex monetary institution, the Reserve Bank of India was established in 1935.

RBI regularly issues Proof and UNC coins mentioning denominations corresponding to the years/anniversaries/jubilees of institutions/events. This is the first with a Rs 90 denomination.
