Western Ganga of Talakadu's very rare Punch marked Gold Gadyana, 3.68g, sold for INR 1,35,000 in an auction held in Pune on 24 December 2023. The obverse of the coin features an elephant standing in profile in the centre facing right, surrounded by four punches of an elephant standing in profile facing right alternating after 2 Kannada letter Shri Shri punches, 1 Kannada legend Dhara (Retrograde) and 1 Kannada legend Pathi" (Retrograde).
