India Post released a commemorative stamp to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the Bombay Naval Dockyard.The stamp designer requested an Rs. 2.50 face value for a stamp to coincide with the '250th Anniversary'.
The Minister of Communication agreed, making it India's only postage stamp with a non-tariff rate.
