Sudan is a country in northeast Africa. The Sudanese pound is the national currency of Sudan. Banknote was issued by the central bank of Sudan. The Sudanese pound is only valid in Sudan. The Sudanese pound was established in 2007 as an official currency.

The obverse depicts a camel and the coat of arms of Sudan. The reverse has an image of the Bank of Sudan. The Sudan banknote was issued on January 1, 1987.
