Anna was a currency unit used during the British Raj, when British-issued coins were last circulated in India. He ruled over the United Kingdom and the British Commonwealth. The coin of British India from the reign of King George VI. King George VI coins with higher denominations were minted in 1940. He was the last Emperor of India in 1947.
