Slovenia, a country in Central Europe, is known for its mountains, ski resorts and lakes. Triglav is the highest mountain in Slovenia and the highest peak of the Julian Alps.The Bank of Slovenia issued Slovenian Tolar banknotes in 15 different denominations, including this Slovenian Tolar banknote (Triglav mountain series). They are part of the Slovenian Tolar banknotes series. The Bank of Slovenia started issuing these Slovenian Tolar banknotes in 1991.
The obverse of the Slovenian ena tolar banknote has an illustration of the Triglav Mountains. The Reverse has ‘1’ in the centre of Slovenian banknotes.
