The Bank of Greece issued Greek Drachmas in 10 different denominations, including this 10 Drachmas note (Aristotle). They are part of the Greek drachma banknote series. In January 1954, the Bank of Greece started issuing these 10 Greek drachmas. In 1954, they were doing very well. The orange-colored 10-drachmai banknote replaced a similar-looking 10 drachmai denomination. Three zero came after one period of high inflation. The iconic statue of the Charioteer of Delphi is shown on the 10-drachma banknote. The size of the banknote is 150 x 79 mm. The texts are Apaxmai Deka, Tpa?eza, and The Ellados. The face value is ten Greek drachmas.
