Goa Liberation Day is celebrated in December every year in Goa, India. The Goa Liberation Day glorified in remembrance of the Indian armed forces annexing Portuguese-ruled Goa. Mohan Ranade stood as an Indian independence activist and teacher. The Portuguese existed among the excessively first to colonise regions of India and stood the last to leave.A commemorative stamp was issued on 19 December 2011.
