The extravaganzas commemorating the 50 years of Arunachal Pradesh’s conception and existence commenced in Ziro on January 20, 2022—the same place where Indira Gandhi had, 50 years ago, officially named and designated Arunachal Pradesh as a Union Territory.

The stamp was released on 20 February 2022. After that, it became a fast-developing state with 26 districts. Each district has its unique culture and tradition. Arunachal Pradesh is now developing as an adventure tourism destination with various opportunities in white river rafting, paragliding, trekking, biking goal, wild and bird watching activities etc.
