Indian Armed Force is the military force of the Republic of India, consisting of the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force. In India, the president of India is the Supreme Commander of the Indian Armed Forces.

The Indian Armed Force is under the Management of the Ministry of Defense (MoD), which is led by the Union Cabinet Minister of Defense. The Indian armed force is one of the longest military histories, dating back several millennia. It is the fourth largest military force in the world. Today it is the world's largest arms importer, with Russia, Israel, and to some extent, France and the United States being the primary foreign suppliers of military equipment.
