Shri Ram Sharma Acharya was an Indian Philosopher and the founder of Global Gayatri Pariwar. He dedicated his entire life to the betterment of society and the upliftment of culture and character.

Ram Sharma Acharya led the way to the restoration of spirituality and the creative integration of the modern and ancient sciences and religion. He was a great holy reformer; who spent his entire life creating a path of self-exploration, self-awareness, and self-transcendence. The Government of India issued this commemorative stamp in 1991 to commemorate him and his work.
