Harpers Ferry National Historical Park Quarter 3-Coin Set is up for sale. The set includes an Uncirculated quarter from the Denver Mint, one from Philadelphia Mint, and a Proof quarter from San Francisco Mint. This set can be purchased for $9.95 and there are no restrictions on the production or the number of orders per household.The reverse features John Brown’s Fort, where Brown and his men made their last stand during a raid on the Harpers Ferry Armory. Other inscriptions include ‘HARPERS FERRY’, ‘WEST VIRGINIA’, ‘E PLURIBUS UNUM’, ‘2016’, ‘JOHN BROWN’S FORT’. The obverse depicts a portrait of George Washington, along with the inscriptions ‘UNITED STATES OF AMERICA’, ‘LIBERTY’, ‘IN GOD WE TRUST’, ‘QUARTER DOLLAR’, and a mint mark.
The park was established on 30th June, 1944, and includes land in West Virginia, Maryland, and Virginia. The coin is the 33rd release in the Mint’s ATB series which will end in 2012.
