In 1937, George VI, was finally crowned and had his coronation. Coronation of Geroge VI was one of the most controversial during that time. George VI spent his entire life; believing his brother would sit on to the throne and will rule the world, and he could quiet life with his wife and two daughters. But, his life changed completely when his brother Wallis Simpson, abdicated the throne in 1936 so he could marry the woman he loved.

The coronation of George VI was a big event of the early television service and the first true outside broadcast, using a mobile control van. He was the third king from the house of Windsor Dynasty.
