He is called the Father of the Nation of modern-day Myanmar. The reverse side of the banknote depicts a spinning wheel. The dimension of the note is 125 × 60 mm. It also has a portrait of General Aung San as a watermark.

The kyat is the currency of Myanmar. The term kyat derives from the ancient Burmese kyattha unit.
