Copper Coin of Chhatrapati Rajaram Maharaj

Rajaram was the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaja and the third Chhatrapati of the Maratha Empire. He sat on the throne of the Maratha Empire in 1689 and ruled it until his death in 1700. Rajaram sat on the throne of the Mughal Empire after the death of Sambhaji Maharaj.During the reign of Chhatrapati Rajaram Maharaj, the Maratha Empire recovered many of the forts captured by the Mughal Empire. They also raided many Mughal territories and collected a good deal of booty.
This copper coin was issued by Chhatrapati Rajaram Maharaj, during his rule in Maratha Empire. This is extremely rare, the copper coin weighs around 8.60g. The obverse of this coin is inscribed as Raja / Ram. The reverse side of this coin is inscribed as Chhatra / Pati.
