Kunjilal Dubey Commemorative Stamp

Kunjilla Dubey was an Indian independence activist, lawyer, educationist, and politician from Madhya Pradesh. He was the first vice-chancellor of Rani Durgavati University and the chancellor of Nagpur University. He served as the first speaker of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly in 1956.Later in 1967, he was appointed as the Finance Minister of the state. He has also served as president of the Inter-University of India, Burma, and Ceylon. In 1964, the Government of India honored him with the third-highest civilian award Padma Bhushan, for his contribution to society.
The Government of India issued a commemorative stamp in 1996, to commemorate him and his work.
