Diggers to Celebrate its 25th Anniversary by Displaying the World's Biggest Gold Coin

The world’s largest and most expensive coin - Perth Mint’s Australian Kangaroo One Tonne Gold Coin will be showcased at the ceremony that would celebrate Diggers and Dealers’ 25th anniversary. The coin was made to promote Australian gold internationally and is worth $A60 million. The one tonne coin is made of 99.99% pure gold, measures 80cm wide and 12cm deep.The display of coin at the event would celebrate the impressive contributions that the Perth Mint has made to the Australian gold industry. The Perth Mint has also supported the Diggers and Dealers since it was founded 25 years ago.
The organizers were extremely happy about such a valuable, significant and unique coin was displayed at the event.
On 1st August, The coin will be on displayed at the Goldfields Art Centre in Kalgoorlie. A big crowd is expected at the forum which would be held from 1st to 3rd August, as all the booths are already sold out.
