Kabaddi is the contact team sport played between two teams with seven players each. It is known, by the numerous names in the different parts of Indian subcontinents. such as in Andra Pradesh, it is known as kabaddi or chedugudu; In the states like Maharashtra, Punjab, Karnataka, and Kerala it is known with the name of Kabaddi; In West-Bengal it is known with the name of Hu-Tu-Tu.Kabaddi is a game of skill, speed, strategic thinking, fitness, thrill, and drama. The core idea of the game is to score points by raiding into the opponent’s court and touching as many defense players as possible without getting caught on a single breath. While raiding in the opponent court, the raider has the chant Kabaddi, Kabaddi, and tries to touch the opponent close to him, while the seven opponents make maneuvers to catch the attacker.
