Somnath temple is considered as one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of God Shiva located in the Indian state of Gujarat. It's believed to be the first among the twelve Jyotirlinga shrines of Lord Shiva. Today it is one of the most important pilgrimages and tourist spots of Gujarat. After the destruction from several Muslim invaders and rulers, the temple was reconstructed several times.Somnath Temple had occupied a much extreme place in Hindu holy places. The site of the Somnath Temple is a pilgrimage site since ancient times. The place of Somnath temple is located in Triveni Sangam; a place where three rivers Kapila, Hiran, and Sarasvati meet.
