The coin turned into a tiny pop-culture portrait

The artistic ornamentation on the banknote especially on dollar has become quit famous. The art developed also developed on the waste currency of Venezuela as a way to recycle it. But a Brazilian artist and designer has come up with a rare notion to develop an interesting art on coins: painting on coins.The designer name is Andre Levy and he called this series a Tales you lose. He uses the mini-structure of the coins portrait or figures to create his set of superheroes and pop-culture icons by obscuring the faces of presidents and kings.
The artist has developed more than twenty such figures on coin illustrated in different colours. One of the examples of its art is the above-shown coin, it depicts cat-women.
