Silver Tetradrachm of Indo Scythian king Azilises

This silver tetradrachm that weighs around 9.31g was issued by Indo Scythian king Azilises during his rule.

Azilises was the Indo-Scythian king, belongs to the Azes dynasty. He sat on the throne of Indo-Scythian after Azes I, at the end of 1st Century BC. The Indo-Scythian was the group of Iranian people of Saka and Scythian origin who migrated southward into western and northern South Asia from the middle of the 2nd century BC to the 4th century AD.

The obverse of this silver tetradrachm depicts King holding a spear mounted on a horse to right. The reverse of this coin depicts Goddess standing to left, holding palm in left hand and a lamp in right, Kharoshthi legend around.
