He with his associate Prafulla Chaki made a plan to assassinate, British Judge Magistrate Kingsford.Magistrate Kingsford was famous for his blatant behaviour towards revolutionaries. The bombs did not hit the judge's carriage but hit a different one, leading to the death of two others. His plan failed and both he and his associate were arrested and were hanged to death on 11th August 1908.
