The Kingdom of Cambodia is situated in Indochinese Peninsula in Southeast Asia. The country’s border touches, Thailand to the northwest, Laos to the north, and Vietnam to the east and the Gulf of Thailand to the southwest. The largest city and capital of the country is Phnom Penh. The official religion of the nation is Buddhism and hence it is a theocratic country.The National Bank of Cambodia is the central bank of the kingdom and provides regulatory oversight to the country's banking sector and is responsible in part for increasing the foreign direct investment in the country.
