Khajuraho is a group of Hindu and Jain temples situated in the chhatarpur district, in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. The Khajuraho temples are the famous ancient temples that depicted the finest arts in the world. These temples are famous for their nagara style architecture symbolism and their erotic sculpture. These temples were built by the Chandella dynasty that reached their height between 885 CE and 1050 CE. The sculpture and the artistic skill of this temple had made this temple one of the UNESCO World Heritage Site in India.This postal commemorative stamp of the Khajuraho Group of Monuments was issued by the government of India in 2020.
