Currently, Sol is the official currency of Peru which is sub-divided into 100 cents. Peru is located in western South America. It is bordered in the north by Ecuador and Colombia, in the east by Brazil, in the southeast by Bolivia, in the south by Chile, and in the south and west by the Pacific Ocean.

If you are a foreign currency collector then here we have a good deal to offer of 10 Soles de Oro of Peru . The obverse of 10 Sol shows the portrait of Garcilaso Inca de la Vega with a crucifix on the right side, the building at left, and Peru's Coat of Arms at the center.

The reverse of the note features Titicaca Lake with boats. The translated text written on the note is, “The Central Reserve Bank of Peru. It will pay the bearer Ten Soles de Oro (Gold) in accordance with its organic law, Lima, September 9, 1971”.
