The new series of Paddington bear was issued by the Royal Mint on 13th June 2018 when a genius leak coin was auctioned on ebay for 16,000 pounds. The details of these new coins are not yet released by the mint. Earlier this year Privy Council documents revealed that the queen had ordered two new 50p coins featuring the adorable bear.

The mint confirmed that commemorative version of the coin which features two designs will go on sale on Monday 18 June with a price starting from 10 pounds. There will be one coloured coin and one silver proof coin featuring the same design to mark the 60th anniversary of the popular book launched in 1958.
