Chalukyas of Kalyani came into the power after fall of Chalukyas of Badami by Dantidurga. The Chalukyas of Kalyani had the same genealogy as those of previous mighty Chalukyas. The Chalukyas of Kalyani is also known as the Western Chalukya was one of the powerful dynasties of the Deccan region around the 10th to 12th-century CE.This gold fanam that weighs around 0.38g was issued from Chalukyas of Kalyani.
