Bangladesh issued new banknote

Central Bank of Bangladesh issued a regular currency and a commemorative note of Taka 200 on 18th March 2020. That day marks the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman-the father of the nation of Bangladesh.This new note will is available at all the branch of the bank. ‘Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Centenary 1920-2020’ will be printed on the upper side of the 200 Taka note while ‘Birth centenary’ on the left corner.
According to Bangladesh Bank, the commemorative note of 200 Taka is issued for the first time. It is issued with 100 Taka commemorative note and 100 face value commemorative coins of Silver and gold.
