The Native American is also known as American Indians; in other words, they are the indigenous people of the United States of America.

The Native American was the people, lived in the United States long before the arrival of Christopher Columbus and the Europeans. These people and the culture they followed are popularly known as Native Americans. Sometimes they are also known as Indians and American Indians. Before thousands of years when Columbus landed on his land, he thought he sailed to the country of India, and he named his locals as Locals Indians and the name stuck with them. The Native Americans lived throughout North and South America. In the United States, there were Native Americans in Alaska, Hawaii, and the mainland of the United States.
