The sale of American Eagle silver bullion coins saw a low weekly total leaving behind 5,16,000 unsold coins which are added to this week’s inventory. Experts state this was probably because of the Memorial Day celebrations.

The sale of silver bullion coins has been steady till now and has already crossed 49.9% of last year’s total of 47 million ounces. Officials state that gold is now valued at $1,240.55 with an increase of $28.45 since last week. The value of an ounce of silver has increased by 34 cents to $16.40.

American Eagle bullion coins was introduced in 1986 and this year the coin celebrates its 30th anniversary.
