Titus was the ruler of the Roman Empire from 79 to 81 AD. A member of the Flavian dynasty, he conquers the Jerusalem in 70.
Titus was born in Rome, to the Emperor Vespasian and Domitilla the Elder. Before becoming emperor, Titus gained renown as a military commander, serving under his father in Judae during the First Jewish Roman War. He succeeded his father upon his death, thus becoming the first Roman Emperor to come the throne after his own biological father.
Today on the in the year 70 AD, A Roman army under Titus occupies and plunders Jerusalem. City was completely under Roman control by 8 September.
