The Royal Mint has announced the launch of its James Bond commemorative coins ahead of the release of the 25th James Bond film.Apart from other commemorative coins, the Royal Mint has unveiled a very special coin to commemorate the occasion. It is the largest coin ever produced by The Royal Mint containing seven kilos of 999.9 fine gold. Only one seven-kilo coin has been produced which was designed by Royal Mint designer Laura Clancy.
With the highest face value of GBP 7000, the coin depicts on the obverse the classic Bond car, the Aston Martin DB5 in a spiral background with the famous number 007 with a gun Walther PPK at the bottom. On the other hand, the reverse of the coin depicts the right-facing effigy of the HH Queen Elizabeth II align with the year of issue and the denomination value.
