Macau Introduces New 10-pataca Commemorative Notes

Macau recently released new 10-pataca commemorative notes on 9th May 2016. The major colours used in the notes are red, orange and green. The obverse features a flower and rooster design, the Chinese Zodiac, 10 in SPARK and the Chinese lantern.The reverse features the headquarters building of Banco Nacional Ultramarino, children with fireworks outside the temple of A-Ma and the flower and rooster pattern. The note bears a 4-mm wide windowed security thread demetalized 10. The watermark is made of a lotus flower with electrotype 10. The note measures 138 x 69 mm and is printed using HKNPL.
