Aland Post has unveiled a special stamp to pay tribute to Aland artist Henrik Nylund. He has let an everlasting impression on Aland's worlds of art and culture. The stamp features one of Henrik's most original work- Sabina Triptych. It was made of acrylic on panels and made on commission for restaurant Sabina. This great item is being issued within the newly launched special philatelic series depicting phenomenal artwork of national collection and issued by Small European postal administration.

The artist has worked in ink as well as in oil and watercolour. Not entirely naturalist in his style, non-figurative and abstract painting suited him well as is illustrated in the 1976 triptych featured on the stamp.
