A variety of coins have been released in May by the Perth Mint of Australia. Listed below is information about some of them.

The original Type I sovereign is recreated beautifully on the 2016 Australian Sovereign Gold Proof Coin with a unique colonial design. The coin celebrates the launch of the Sydney branch of the Royal Mint in 1855.
