2016-04-28 Thu
A record number of 225 dealers participated in the 30th annual event of Maastricht Paper Money Fair which took place from 8th April to 10th April in Netherlands.About 1,000 visitors from all over the world came down to participate in this event. It is one of the most awaited fairs for banknote collectors and dealers. Since the dates of the event clashed with that of the Hong Kong show, the turnout was below expectations. Nevertheless, most dealers were pleased with the result of the show.
PCGS stated that they graded more notes at the Maastricht Paper Money Fair than any other show till date. Trends from the show suggest that vintage and modern notes from the Middle East are in high demand.
