Centennial Olympics Cycling Silver Dollar

Cycling is also known as Biking or bicycling, it is used as a medium of transport, recreation exercise, and sport. People who are engaged in cycling are referred to as cyclist, biker of the bicyclist. A cycle is the most efficient and effective mode of transportation. In many countries, the most commonly used vehicle for road transport is a utility bicycle. Cycling is also used as one of the sports in the Olympic Games.The United States of America had issued this commemorative silver dollar with the theme of cycling in the year 1995. This silver dollar was issued to support the 1996 Atlanta Centennial Olympic Games and the programs of the United States Olympic Committee.
The obverse of this coin depicts three men competing in a cycling race. The reverse of this coin depicts silhouette outlined design of the Olympic logo and clasped hands, to symbolize the brotherhood and team spirit of the Olympic Games.
