2016 Mini Roo Gold Coin, composed of a half gram of 99.99% gold was released by The Perth Mint and is available for $54.09 AUD. It measures just 11.60 mm in diameter.

The coin’s reverse features a kangaroo with inscriptions ‘0.5 GRAM’, ‘9999 GOLD’, “P” mint mark. The obverse bears the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, with inscriptions ‘ELIZABETH II’, ‘AUSTRALIA 2016’, and ‘2 DOLLARS’.

The Perth Mint’s Mini Roo Gold Coin series which was launched in 2010 features a unique kangaroo reverse image every year.
