Police College's First Batch Commemorated on Stamp

On 10th July, Police College and Qatar Post released a special postage stamp to commemorate the graduation of the first batch of Police College. The first batch comprised of 108 police graduates from the Qatar, Kuwait, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Palestine and Yemen. All of them were honoured by the Police College in January 2018. 10,000 postage stamps have been printed in offset using the lithographic technique.Police College operates under the Ministry of Interior – Qatar and is moderated by a Council of 10 members representing authorities within and outside the ministry. The college aims to empower its citizens with scientifically and practically trained officers to prevent crime and maintain order. It also develops a curriculum as per the changing trends in the domain.
