On 25th May 2018, Greenland issued a set of stamps as a part of multination Sepac (Small European Postal Administration Cooperations) series with the theme of spectacular views. The stamp today, has won the “Stamp of the Year Award”.
The stamp with the denomination of 16 krone featuring Erwin Reinthaler’s panoramic photograph of mountains and the northern lights was voted as Greenland’s 2018 stamp of the year in a competition organized by the philatelic division of Post Greenland.
This stamp is a large stamp measuring 100.8 millimeters by 28.8mm and depicts the snow-clad mountains with the northern lights in the center. The name of the country is inscribed at the top left corner and the denomination at the bottom right corner.
